Rip Saw Optimization

Our research has shown that the maximum yield you can cut from a board increases by an average of 2.5% when you can adjust the angle of the board before it passes into the gang rip saw. Because of this fact, all of our Cameron Automation Rip Infeeds allow the board to be scanned and accurately positioned at the proper angle for increased production and reduced waste. Cameron Automation now has 3 models that work with either fixed or movable arbor gang saws. The Quick Rip, the Automated Opti-Rip, and now introducing "The Skew" rip saw optimization systems help to reduce manufacturing costs, reduce labor, and increase production and overall profit.

		Quick Rip The Quick Rip is a complete rip saw optimization system in a simple and compact package. Virtually the same footprint as an operator hand feeding with a stack of lumber; the Quick Rip rip saw optimization system also positions the operator away from the saw for increased safety, and allows for more accurate board positioning.

		Automated Opti-Rip The Automated Opti-Rip rip saw optimization system is very adaptable to many material handling systems. Some of our systems are fed manually from a scissor lift of planed lumber. Some systems have a landing deck and are fed from the outfeed conveyor of a planer and some systems are fed by destackers and singulation machines.
