Software Developer – Industrial Automation & Manufacturing Systems

We are seeking a full-time Software Developer. This role blends industrial control software, optimization algorithms, and business critical internal tools. It also offers an opportunity to see your work directly power real machines and factory operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain software for automated woodworking equipment
  • Maintain internal manufacturing (ERP) and sales (CRM) applications
  • Help field and implement customer feature requests
  • Support existing machinery installations
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams on product development
  • Participate in customer visits for installation, troubleshooting, or sales support (optional)
  • Contribute ideas across the product line — we value innovation and initiative

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility available)
  • On-site role with a self-driven work culture
  • Interfaces directly with the onsite factory and manufacturing team
  • Up to 25% travel possible, depending on interest and project load

What We’re Looking For

  • Solid programming fundamentals and object-oriented design skills
  • Strong problem-solving, logical deduction, and debugging ability
  • Experience with software testing, documentation, and performance tuning
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn unfamiliar systems
  • Basic electrical and mechanical engineering skills are a major bonus
